YOUR TASKS:

Faceting of semi-finished products
Lapping, grinding and polishing on single and double-sided machines
Testing and measuring of optical components with special measuring technology
Further development of the processing and production of crystalline materials
Standard-compliant assessment of optical components and their ISO-compliant documentation
Incoming and outgoing goods inspection

YOUR PROFILE:

Completed vocational training in the optical/ precision optics field, alternatively as an industrial mechanic, machining mechanic, precision mechanic or mechatronics engineer
A minimum of two years of optical experience
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
A proactive, problem-solving mindset
A desire to learn and grow in a dynamic manufacturing
Fluent in German (written and oral)

YOUR PROFILE:

Completed vocational training as a mechatronics technician, industrial mechanic, industrial electrician or a comparable qualification
Experience in the maintenance, servicing and repair of automated production equipment
Knowledge of PLC technology (S5/S7) is an advantage
Very good German and good English skills
Willingness to travel worldwide
Strong analytical skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Commissioning machines at customer sites worldwide and at our own facilities
Maintenance and servicing of production equipment and machine tools worldwide
Supporting the assembly of new machines and systems
Supporting our development team

Several years of experience in CNC programming using CAD/CAM systems
Good technological knowledge in machining
Experience in machining high-performance plastics, GRP, wood and aluminum
Confident handling of construction drawings and their implementation
Independent and responsible way of working
Team player and able to work under pressure

YOUR TASKS:

Creation of 2D- CAD drawings with AutoCAD or Draftsight
Creation of CNC programs, work documents for 3-axis portal milling machines using CAD/CAM software
materials: High performance plastics, GFK, wood and aluminum
Programming, setup and operation of 3 – CNC milling machines
Further development of production concepts together with construction and work preparation
