Diamond grinding tools for spherical processing of optical components
We have developed a special hybrid bond for radius grinding tools and tools used in spherical processing. This bond combines the benefits of metal-bonded tools — cutting performance, endurance and high heat dissipation from the cutting zone — with the benefits of resin-bonded tools: homogeneous, scratch-free surfaces, optically measurable surfaces after grinding and minimal polishing times.

We manufacture radius milling tools in diamond grit sizes from D7 to D300, bonded in different carrier materials and available in various standard dimensions. Tool interfaces are available with standardized hydraulic taper shanks HD3/HD6/HD12/HD25 or as customer-specific interfaces.
The clamping shaft is made of stainless steel. HD12 and HD25 are equipped with an internal bore and sealing rings for central coolant supply.
